The Wisconsin Livestock Breeders Association Seeks a New Executive Director!
This is a part-time, works remotely position. The Executive Director is the primary management position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of WLBA. The Executive Director will provide leadership in the areas of financial management, member relations, event coordination, and organizational growth. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to ensure the association's goals are achieved and that WLBA continues to thrive as a key player in Wisconsin's livestock industry. At the Wisconsin Livestock Breeders Association (WLBA) Board Meeting, held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to not be an approved youth organization for junior exhibitors to show/exhibit under at any county or state fair going forward from this date. This includes any junior exhibitor that has previously exhibited under the WLBA organization in the past.

The Wisconsin Livestock Breeder Association was founded in 1911 by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture and the University of Wisconsin Agriculture College for the purpose of providing junior livestock activities. Our Mission: To provide educational opportunities, leadership skill training, and ethical development for Wisconsin youth through participation in livestock agriculture activities. |
